Authorities Seek Driver for Questioning in Deadly New Jersey Hit-and-Run

The Washington Township Police Department, in collaboration with the Gloucester County Prosecutor’s Office, is seeking assistance from the public to identify the driver of a vehicle believed to hold critical information about a fatal hit-and-run incident.

According to a statement released by the Washington Township Police Department, the appeal for information is part of an ongoing investigation.  

The fatal collision occurred on Monday, November 4, 2024, at approximately 8:00 p.m. on Fries Mill Road southbound, just south of its intersection with Hurffville-Cross Keys Road.

The vehicle in question was captured on surveillance footage traveling along Town Center Boulevard, Hurffville-Cross Keys Road, and Fries Mill Road between 8:00 and 8:05 p.m.  

Investigators believe the driver may have valuable information relevant to the case and are urging anyone with knowledge about the individual or vehicle to come forward.  

"Your assistance could be crucial," the Washington Township Police Department emphasized in the statement. "Even the smallest detail could make a significant difference in the investigation."
