Authorities are investigating a shooting that left a 15-year-old wounded in Paterson on Wednesday evening.
According to Passaic County Prosecutor Camelia M. Valdes, Paterson Police responded to reports of gunfire near East 37th Street and 11th Avenue at approximately 8:44 p.m. on October 30, 2024.
Upon arrival, officers located the teenage victim, who was suffering from a non-fatal gunshot wound.
The victim was transported to St. Joseph’s University Medical Center for medical treatment. Police have since identified a potential crime scene in the area.
The investigation remains active, and officials have not released additional details.
