We're starting off the weekend with a brisk and breezy Saturday. It's currently 57 degrees at 6 a.m. in Newark, and while there's some cloud cover early, the sun will break through as the morning progresses.
The winds will pick up around midday, so be mindful of fire risks, especially with the dry conditions we've had lately—watch those cigarette butts out the window!
According to the National Weather Service, today will be sunny with a high near 64 and northwest winds at 5 to 14 mph.
Tonight, expect mostly clear skies and a low around 41.
