It’s a pleasant start to the day with clear skies and temperatures at 66 degrees, setting up another beautiful summerlike day in the Newark and North Jersey region.
While some areas, such as Sussex County, are still struggling to reach the 50s this morning, temperatures will rise quickly as the day goes on.
According to the National Weather Service, today will be sunny with a high near 82.
A calm morning breeze will shift to a gentle south wind at 5 to 7 mph in the afternoon.
For tonight, expect mostly clear skies with a low of around 55.
Make sure to enjoy the lovely weather today, as conditions are expected to take a turn starting Wednesday.
