Paterson police are investigating an early morning shooting that occurred on Sunday near 832 East 27th Street.
Officers responded to reports of gunfire around 3 a.m. and found evidence of a shooting at the scene.
After a thorough search of the area, no victims were located, and officials checked local hospitals for any potential walk-in gunshot victims.
As of 4 a.m., no individuals had been admitted for gunshot wounds.
The motive for the shooting remains under investigation, and no arrests have been made at this time.
