A Kearny man is in custody following a violent knife attack that left a victim with life-threatening injuries on Friday night.
According to Kearny Police, Mr. William Krebs, 49, was arrested and charged with criminal attempt - murder, along with multiple weapons offenses.
The stabbing occurred on Quincy Avenue near Maple Street, where police responded to a report of an assault.
Police told RLS Media the victim, who sustained severe injuries in the attack, was rushed to the hospital but is expected to survive.
Authorities have not yet disclosed what led to the violent altercation.
Krebs is currently being held at Hudson County Jail as the investigation continues.
