After a couple of chilly days, Newark and North Jersey are waking up to milder temperatures this morning, with a nice warm-up expected to lead into a beautiful weekend.
While some areas of North Jersey still feel the lingering fall chill, it’s not as sharp as earlier in the week.
Clear skies and plenty of sunshine are in store today, making it perfect for enjoying lunch outdoors as temperatures rise throughout the day.
According to the National Weather Service, today will be sunny with a high near 67 degrees and a north wind of around 9 mph.
Tonight will be clear, with temperatures dipping to around 48 degrees.
The weekend promises even warmer weather, with highs reaching the mid-70s on both Saturday and Sunday.
