Authorities in Newark seek the public’s help in identifying the suspects in connection with an auto burglary that occurred on Friday, October 4.Newark Public Safety Director Fritz G. Fragé stated at approximately 11:09 p.m., police responded to a residence at Noll Place near Sanford Avenue on a call of an auto burglary.
The victim observed two male suspects entering their parked vehicle and fleeing on foot once the victim yelled out at them, officials said.
According to officials, the victim reported that a less lethal self-defense device was stolen from the vehicle.
