Elizabeth Police are investigating a tragic two-vehicle crash that left one man dead and four others injured on Monday morning.
The crash occurred around 10 a.m. near the intersection of Division Street and Livingston Street, according to City Spokeswoman Ruby Contreras.
Upon arriving at the scene, police found two vehicles with severe damage.
Four individuals were transported to University Hospital in Newark for treatment, while one man was pronounced dead at the scene.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation, and authorities are working to determine the events leading up to the fatal incident.
