Paterson Police had launched an investigation into a shooting that injured two. On the night of October 5, Paterson Police responded to reports of gunfire near Straight Street and Park Avenue, where a violent shootout left two men injured.
According to police, a 33-year-old man was struck multiple times in the head and torso, while a 28-year-old man sustained non-life-threatening injuries.
Both men were transported to St. Joseph’s University Medical Center for treatment.
The 33-year-old is currently in critical condition, while the 28-year-old is listed as stable.
