Authorities are investigating a fatal crash in South Brunswick Township that left one person dead and at least two others critically injured Thursday evening.
The crash occurred around 7:10 p.m. at the intersection of County Road 522 and Georges Road.
Emergency responders arrived at the scene to find multiple occupants trapped inside the vehicle.
One individual was pronounced dead at the scene, while two others were transported to the hospital in critical condition.
The cause of the crash is still under investigation, and the Middlesex County Prosecutor’s Office has been notified to assist in the investigation.
