Linden police are investigating a crash that left a motorcyclist injured late Wednesday night on East Edgar Road (Route 1&9).
The incident occurred around 11:30 p.m. in the 1100 block of the busy roadway.
According to preliminary reports, police responded to a call about a crash with injuries.
Upon arriving at the scene, officers found a motorcyclist down on the roadway and immediately requested EMS. The motorcyclist was transported to a local hospital for treatment.
The crash, which involved a pickup truck and a motorcycle, left both vehicles severely damaged and totaled.
The cause of the collision is still under investigation, and no further details have been released at this time.
