A 4-alarm fire that broke out in a multi-family dwelling in Paterson this afternoon has fire officials investigating.
According to officials, fire started in the rear of 307 McBride Ave. directly across the street from Paterson's new fire headquarters and home of engine 7 at around 2 p.m.
A 2nd and 3rd alarm was quickly transmitted as heavy fire began to work its way to the front of the home.
The fire was placed under control in a little over an hour.
A 4th alarm was transmitted for relief purposes.
There were no reported injuries.
