A crash that happened on the eastbound side of Rt. 3 in Clifton left two people dead this evening.
The crash occurred near Hepburn Road at around 7 p.m this evening where preliminary reports say that a car crashed into a guard rail at that location ejecting several people from the vehicle, killing two occupants.
The tire from the vehicle reportedly disconnected and colliding with a vehicle that was about 100 ft down the road. Several people were taken to the hospital for non-life threatening injuries.
The cause of the crash is under investigation.
