North Jersey is experiencing damp conditions this Saturday morning, with temperatures at 66 degrees and light rain expected throughout the day.

While the region faces on-and-off showers, it pales in comparison to the aftermath of Hurricane Helene, which has claimed over two dozen lives in Florida.

Northeast winds will blow at around 14 mph, with a 60% chance of precipitation. Rainfall amounts between a tenth and a quarter of an inch are possible.

Saturday night is expected to bring more showers, mainly before 8 p.m., with temperatures holding steady around 67 degrees.

Residents are advised to keep an umbrella handy as they navigate the rainy conditions.
