Suspect Wanted for Assaulting Food Delivery Worker in Newark

Authorities in Newark request the public’s help identifying the suspect, who was captured on surveillance video assaulting a food delivery worker on September 15.AdNewark Public Safety Director Fritz G. Fragé stated police officers responded to the incident at Taco Bell in the 300 block of Broad Street, where the worker had gone at approximately 9:30 p.m. to pick up a DoorDash order.

As he waited for the order, officials said a man driving a grey sedan pulled up and said something to the worker before exiting the vehicle to confront him.  Pic

According to officials, the driver shoved the worker and punched him in the mouth, causing him to fall to the ground.

 

After the attack, the suspect drove away southbound on Broad Street in the vehicle with three passengers - one male and two females, officials say.
