Cool, Cloudy Tuesday Ahead for Newark, Light Drizzle is Expected in Some Areas

North Jersey is waking up to a cool 61 degrees this Tuesday morning, with cloudy skies expected to keep temperatures on the cooler side throughout the day.

While it is expected to stay dry in Newark, areas in Sussex, Bergen, and Passaic counties may experience some light, off-and-on drizzle, though no significant rainfall is anticipated.

Temperatures in these counties are starting off even cooler, in the mid- to upper 50s.

According to the National Weather Service, today’s forecast calls for mostly cloudy skies, a high near 70 degrees, and an east wind of 7 to 9 mph.

Tonight, there is a slight 20% chance of showers after 2 a.m., with mostly cloudy skies and a low of around 61 degrees.
