$1 Million Lottery Ticket Sold in Newark's Ironbound Section

According to NJ Lottery officials, a lucky New Jersey Lottery ticket worth $1 million was sold in Newark's Ironbound neighborhood.

The winning ticket matched five of the five white balls drawn in the Wednesday, September 18 drawing, securing the second-tier prize of $1,000,000.

Lottery officials say the winning ticket was purchased at Variedades Ecualatinas, located at 262 Ferry Street in Newark, Essex County.

The numbers for the draw were 01, 11, 22, 47, and 68, with a Red Power Ball number of 07 and a Power Play multiplier of 4X.

In addition to the $1 million winner, 21,504 New Jersey players claimed prizes ranging from $4 to $400, totaling an estimated $150,444.

The Powerball jackpot has now rolled over to $195 million for the next drawing on Saturday, September 21.
