A New Jersey bus driver was hospitalized after being attacked by a group of teenagers while operating a bus in Paterson on Wednesday afternoon.
According to NJ Transit officials, the incident occurred around 4:34 p.m. when seven juveniles assaulted the driver on the 171 line at the Broadway Bus Terminal.
Authorities have not yet disclosed the motive behind the attack.
Emergency medical personnel treated the bus operator at the scene before transporting them to a local hospital.
The driver is currently receiving treatment for non-life-threatening injuries.
New Jersey Transit Police are leading the investigation, but no arrests have been reported at this time.
