Authorities are investigating an afternoon bank robbery on Mulberry Street in Newark.
Police responded to the TD Bank branch - at 105-109 Mulberry St. - for a panic alarm.
Upon arrival, bank staff told police that a man with a white bag indicated he was armed while demanding money.
The robber fled on foot but was last seen getting into a yellow cab near Penn Station.
The suspect is described as a African-American man, approximately 5'6," clean-shaven man in his 50s with a thin build.
