Paterson Gears Up for 35th Annual Dominican Day Parade

The city of Paterson is preparing for the 35th annual Dominican Day Parade, set to take place this Sunday, September 8, at noon.AdMayor Andre Sayegh will join Elsa Mantilla, President and Founder of the Desfile Dominicano NJ, to celebrate the milestone event, which has become a cherished tradition for New Jersey's Dominican community.

This year’s parade promises to be a vibrant display of Dominican culture, featuring lively music, traditional dances, and colorful attire.

Paterson, which is home to the largest Dominican population in New Jersey, will once again serve as the host city, showcasing its role as a cultural hub for the Dominican diaspora.

The parade will kick off at the intersection of Vreeland Avenue and East 33rd Street and conclude at Paterson City Hall, where residents and visitors will gather to honor Dominican heritage and enjoy the festivities.
