A vehicle occupied by suspects wanted for a carjacking in Union had police follow the vehicle into Newark late last night.
Police responded to reports of a carjacking that occurred on Walker Ave. when upon their arrival, they came across the vehicle fitting the description of the carjacked vehicle a short distance away.
According to reports, after several attempts by police to pull the vehicle over, the vehicle sped off making it's way into Newark where it crashed on Clinton Ave. and Osborne Terrace.
Police chased two suspects after they bailed out of the vehicle in the South Ward community where at least one of the suspects was captured a short distance away.
There were no injuries reported.
