Authorities in Middlesex County announced that a fatal shooting is under investigation in the Borough of Sayreville.
Middlesex County Prosecutor Yolanda Ciccone said that on August 20, at approximately 9:49 p.m., authorities received a 911 call reporting a shooting on Swider Drive.
Upon their arrival, officials say, officers located Jeremiah Brown, 22, of Sayreville, who sustained a fatal gunshot wound.
Authorities say Brown was then pronounced deceased at the scene.
