Two individuals were hospitalized with non-fatal injuries following a shooting in Asbury Park, New Jersey, on Sunday night.
The incident, which occurred around 9:45 p.m. near 1000 Atlantic Avenue, resulted in a male and a female being struck by gunfire.
Authorities responded quickly, securing the scene where they discovered the male victim with wounds to his leg and shoulder and the female victim shot in the leg.
Emergency services transported both victims to Jersey Shore Medical Center, where they are expected to make full recoveries.
Asbury Park Police searched the scene for evidence to uncover a possible motive, though no arrests have been reported thus far.
The shooting's cause remains under investigation as local law enforcement continues to piece together the events leading up to the violence.
