Fairfield Cops Arrest Attempted Burglary Suspects After High-Speed Chase Ends in Crash

A high-speed pursuit initiated by Fairfield police on Saturday afternoon ended in a crash and the capture of several burglary suspects in Passaic County's town of Woodland Park.SupportThe suspects were wanted for multiple attempted burglaries in Fairfield.

The incident began in Fairfield, where local authorities were alerted to an ongoing burglary. Just before 3 p.m., Fairfield police identified and attempted to pull over a vehicle linked to the burglaries.

However, the driver failed to comply, ignoring the officer's lights and sirens, and initiated a high-speed chase across several municipalities.

The pursuit came to a dramatic end when the driver lost control and crashed the vehicle in the 700 block of McBride Avenue in Woodland Park.

Crash The vehicle overturned, and the suspects attempted to flee on foot. Authorities quickly responded, apprehending three suspects in the 30's block of Providence shortly after the crash.

New Jersey State Police and Totowa Police arrived after the pursuit to assist. 

Fortunately, no serious injuries were reported in the incident.Support

The suspects are currently in custody, and the case remains under active investigation as authorities work to piece together the details of the burglary attempts and the ensuing chase.
