A shooting incident in Newark's North Ward late Tuesday night has prompted a police investigation after multiple shell casings and a bullet-damaged vehicle were found on the scene.
It happened around 10:20 p.m. on North 14th Street near Park Avenue.
Upon arrival, Newark Police discovered several shell casings and an unoccupied vehicle that had been struck by bullets.
Officers thoroughly canvassed the area, searching for potential victims; however, no injuries have been reported in connection with the incident.
No arrests have been made, and the suspect is still at large.
Authorities are continuing their investigation and are asking anyone with information about the shooting to come forward to assist in the case.
