Authorities in Passaic County are actively searching for a suspect involved in a shooting that took place in Passaic on Saturday afternoon.
According to a statement by Prosecutor Camelia M. Valdes, the incident occurred at approximately 3:54 p.m. on August 10, 2024. Officers from the Passaic Police Department responded to reports of shots fired in the area of Myrtle Avenue and Autumn Street in Passaic.
Upon arrival, the officers were able to locate a potential crime scene, but fortunately, no one was struck by the gunfire.
The investigation is ongoing, and authorities have promised to release more information as it becomes available.
