My friends and family in Newark and the North Jersey region are waking up to a delightful Sunday morning, mirroring yesterday's pleasant conditions.
The National Weather Service (NWS) reports a mostly sunny day ahead, despite a cloudy start and some minor threats of light rain.
As of 6:30 a.m., temperatures in Newark have reached a comfortable 69 degrees.
NWS meteorologists say the day is expected to warm up to a high of 82 degrees with a gentle north wind shifting to calm.
For those heading out for Sunday worship or a morning dog walk, the weather promises to be as gorgeous as ever.
Tonight, the skies will remain clear with a low around 65 degrees and a gentle west wind at approximately 8 mph.
