Authorities in Morris County are urgently seeking the public's help in locating a 15-year-old girl who has been missing since July 27, 2024.
Shoshana Acevedo, known to friends and family as "Sho," was last seen on Hanover Avenue in Morris Township at 11 p.m. on the night she disappeared.
Shoshana has brown hair and brown eyes, stands 5 feet 2 inches tall, and weighs approximately 138 pounds.
She has connections to Belvidere in Warren County, Somerset County, and the Palmer area in Pennsylvania.
However, she does not have a cell phone, complicating efforts to trace her whereabouts.
Morris County Prosecutor Robert J. Carroll, Chief of Detectives Robert McNally, and Morris County Sheriff James M. Gannon have all expressed concern for Shoshana's safety.
Initial search efforts, which included the use of K-9 units and drones, were unsuccessful, leading law enforcement to appeal to the public for any information that might aid in finding her.
Anyone with information about Shoshana's whereabouts is urged to contact the Morris County Prosecutor’s Office Missing Persons Unit through the Morris County Communications Center at 973-285-2900.
Those wishing to remain anonymous can reach out to Morris County Crimestoppers at 1-800-743-7433.
Authorities are encouraging anyone with even the smallest piece of information to come forward as they continue their search for the missing teen.
