Police in Newark are requesting the public's assistance in identifying the suspect who assaulted a victim on August 4 in the Ironbound section of the city.Public Safety Director Fritz Fragé reported that the incident occurred at approximately 3 p.m. near Adams and Walnut Streets.
The victim was standing in the area when the suspect, described as a short, slim, Black male, punched him in the face.
The suspect was captured on surveillance video and was seen fleeing northbound on Adams Street.
