NJ Man Charged with Possessing Explicit Images of Minors

Burlington County officials have charged a 55-year-old Willingboro man with possession of Explicit Images of Minors (CSAM).Ad

LaChia L. Bradshaw announced that Mr. Arthur Pitt was taken into custody at his residence on July 16 and was lodged in the Burlington County Jail in Mount Holly.

Pitt was released following a first appearance in Superior Court. The case is being prepared for presentation to a grand jury for a possible indictment.

The investigation began after the BCPO High-Tech Crimes Unit received a tip from the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children regarding Pitt’s online activities.

Detectives discovered that Pitt had over 1,000 images and videos of CSAM, which he stored using an online cloud storage application.

The BCPO High-Tech Crimes Unit conducted the investigation, with assistance from the Willingboro Township Police Department and the United States Homeland Security Investigations—Cherry Hill Office.

The BCPO Special Victims Unit will prosecute Pitt.
