Authorities in Passaic County announced that at approximately 3:47 a.m. on August 2, members of the Paterson Police Department were dispatched to the area of Carroll Street and Godwin Avenue on a report of a shooting.Passaic County Prosecutor Camelia M. Valdes stated Paterson Police located a 40-year-old male from Paterson, who suffered non-fatal gunshot wounds.
The victim was transported to St. Joseph’s University Medical Center for treatment of a non-fatal gunshot wound, officials said.
Additionally, officials say, Paterson Police were advised that a 33-year-old male from Paterson, arrived at St. Joseph’s University Medical Center via private vehicle seeking treatment for a non-fatal gunshot wound.
Members of the Paterson Police Department were able to locate a potential crime scene, according to officials. The investigation remains active and ongoing, officials say. More information will be released once it becomes available.
