Warm, Sunny Sunday Ahead for Early Worship Service, Justice Rally for Massey in Newark

As Newark and the North Jersey region awaken to a refreshing 68 degrees this Sunday at 5 a.m., residents heading out to early services at their houses of worship can enjoy the cooler temperatures without a jacket.NinosHowever, as the day progresses, expect humidity levels to rise, making it feel warmer than Saturday.

The National Weather Service forecasts a sunny day with a high near 89 degrees. Winds will be calm, becoming northeast at 5 to 7 mph in the morning.

For those planning to attend the rally for justice for Sonya Massey, organized by the People's Organization for Progress with Larry Hamm at 2 p.m. at the Lincoln Statue, it's advisable to dress comfortably and bring plenty of water, as temperatures are expected to approach the 90s.

Tonight, there's a 30 percent chance of showers, primarily after 2 a.m., with mostly cloudy conditions and a low of around 70 degrees.
