The Honorable Mayor Andre Sayegh will join New Jersey Peruvians, Inc. for the 2024 Peruvian Grand Parade and Festival, kicking off today.

This annual parade is a vibrant celebration of Peruvian culture. It starts in the City of Passaic, moves through the City of Clifton, and culminates at City Hall in Paterson.

Paterson, known for its large Peruvian population, is home to Peru Square, Little Lima, and numerous Peruvian restaurants that reflect Peru's rich cultural traditions.

City officials said thousands of community members are expected to attend this festive event, which will feature performances by renowned artists and traditional Peruvian acts.

This year's lineup includes Roberto Blades, La Sonora Dinamita, Yuri Toro, and many more, promising an unforgettable experience filled with music, dance, and artistic displays.
