A serious incident occurred early Saturday morning when a pedestrian was struck by a vehicle in Trenton, resulting in serious injuries.
The accident took place around 2:45 a.m. at 677 South Broad Street.
Responding to several calls about an injured individual, police and emergency medical services quickly arrived at the scene.
They discovered an unidentified person with serious injuries lying on the ground, having been hit by a vehicle.
EMS promptly transported the victim to a regional medical center for treatment, and he is expected to recover.
Authorities reported that the driver in the incident remained at the scene and cooperated with the ongoing police investigation.
