A reported burglary in progress that occurred in the city sprung several police units into action in the single digit block of Whitmore Place shortly before 4:30 a.m.
Several men were reportedly attempting to break into a residence at that location when fast police response to the scene had authorities chase down three suspects that fled on foot.
Officer took two suspects into custody while they searched for a third suspect only described as a Hispanic male.
