Newark and the North Jersey region are waking up to a dry and beautiful Saturday morning, marking a pleasant start to the weekend.While humidity is slightly increased compared to Friday, conditions remain comfortably mild.
Currently, the temperature stands at 71 degrees across the region.
The National Weather Service notes there might be a stray shower west of Newark later in the day, but overall, no significant rainfall is expected.
Today's forecast includes a 20 percent chance of showers after 2 p.m., mostly cloudy skies, and a high near 87 degrees. Winds will be calm, shifting to the south at 5 to 9 mph in the morning.Tonight, NWS forecasters say the chance of showers continues at 20 percent, with mostly cloudy conditions persisting and a low of around 72 degrees.
Residents are encouraged to enjoy the relatively calm weather this Saturday and make the most of the mild conditions.
