EMS rushed a victim suffering injury from an apparent gunshot wound that occurred in the 300 block of Harvey Place to University Hospital in Newark with serious injuries a short time ago.
Reports of shots fired sent police to the scene shortly before 10:30 p.m. where they found the victim suffering a gunshot wound to the back.
Police are investigating a motive for the shooting.
