Authorities in Passaic County announced that at approximately 3:00 p.m. on July 11, members of the Passaic Police Department responded to the area of Main Avenue and Burgess Place in Passaic upon a report of shots fired.
Passaic County Prosecutor Camelia M. Valdes said upon arrival, responding officers were able to locate a potential crime scene.
No one was struck by the gunfire, officials stated.
According to officials, the investigation remains active and ongoing.
More information will be released once it becomes available, authorities say.
