The Irvington Police Department has confirmed the safe return of 15-year-old Ashley Adaramula, an autistic teen who went missing on July 10th.
Thanks to widespread community support and the sharing of the alert on RLS Media, Ashley was located by authorities early this morning at NY Penn Station.
Ashley, who has minimal speech capability, was last seen by her parents in Irvington Township on Tiffany Place before being reported missing.
Despite extensive searches by police across Essex County, her whereabouts remained unknown until this morning.
At 5:45 a.m., police officials contacted RLS Media to report that Ashley had been found safe at NYC Penn Station and was in the authorities' care.
She was subsequently taken to a local hospital for observation but appears to be uninjured.
The investigation into her disappearance continues, but her family and community members are relieved and grateful for her safe return.
