A traffic accident that occurred Wednesday morning on I-95 in Robbinsville, Mercer County, left several people injured Wednesday morning. The incident occurred around 1 a.m. in the southbound lanes near mile marker 58.3.
State troopers responded to the scene shortly after the crash was reported and coordinated with emergency medical services to assist approximately five individuals.
The victims suffered various injuries, some of which were reported as serious. No fatalities have been reported at this time.
Local authorities are investigating the cause of the wreck as they try to determine the sequence of events that led to this multi-vehicle collision.
Traffic was not severely impacted in the area as emergency crews attended to the injured and worked to clear the scene.
