A 26-year-old man pleaded guilty to child endangerment after his girlfriend's toddler swallowed heroin that put him in a coma last year.
Mark Tomat and Tara Bradbury, 23, admitted being high on heroin when Bradbury's 9-month-old swallowed the drug. The child was transported to the hospital where he went into a coma after the ordeal. The child has made a full recovery.
Tomat was sentenced to five years probation for negligence.
