Jersey City Police are on the search for suspects following a shooting that occurred early Tuesday morning at Berry Lane Park.
Gunfire was reported around 3 a.m., leading police to rush to the scene.
Upon arrival, officers discovered a blood trail within the park but were unable to locate any victims.
Police have since alerted hospitals across the region to be on the lookout for individuals arriving with gunshot wounds. Meanwhile, detectives have meticulously searched the park for evidence and potential suspects.
Shell casings were found near the soccer field, indicating the location of the shooting.
The suspects involved have fled the scene and remain at large as the investigation continues.
Jersey City Police are asking anyone with information to come forward to assist with the ongoing investigation.
