Early Sunday morning, a triple shooting in Trenton prompted a response from local law enforcement.
Initial reports indicated that The Trenton Police Department was called to 101 Walnut Avenue after receiving multiple 911 calls about shots fired at approximately 1:35 a.m.
Upon arrival, officers found three individuals suffering from gunshot wounds.
The victims were quickly transported to a regional medical center; however, the severity of their injuries remains undisclosed.
Police and detectives secured the scene, taping off the area and conducting a thorough search of the neighborhood.
No additional victims were discovered.
The motive behind the shooting is still under investigation, and as of now, no arrests have been made.
Authorities are continuing to gather information and are asking anyone with knowledge of the incident to come forward.
