My friends and family in Newark are waking up to another beautiful day this Sunday as we celebrate Father's Day across the country.
If you enjoyed yesterday's weather, expect today to be similar, albeit with a bit more cloud cover—perfect for firing up the grill and enjoying an outdoor dinner in honor of dads.
According to the National Weather Service (NWS), today will be sunny, with a high near 78 degrees.
Winds will be from the northeast at 6 to 8 mph, shifting to the southeast in the afternoon.
Tonight, NWS forecasters say the weather will be partly cloudy with a low of around 63 degrees and a south wind moving at 3 to 8 mph.
It's a great day to spend outdoors, so take the opportunity to celebrate and take care of our dads on this special occasion.
