The Camden County Prosecutor’s Office and Merchantville Police Department are seeking the public’s help in identifying a man wanted for a strong-arm robbery at a borough bank.
The robbery happened at the PNC Bank located at 26 West Maple Avenue in Merchantville shortly before 3:20 p.m. on April 1, 2015.
Surveillance video shows the robber approach a customer from behind, grab the victim’s money and flee the bank. A video and photos of the suspect are posted below.
Philadelphia Police believe this may be the same suspect they are seeking for a carjacking in the city. That incident happened in a parking lot near the Walmart located at 2200 Wheatsheaf Lane at approximately 2:45 p.m. on April 1, 2015.
