Authorities are investigating a stabbing incident that occurred Friday night, leaving one person seriously injured.
The incident took place shortly before 10:30 p.m. in the area of 600 Fulton Street.
Upon arrival, Elizabeth police discovered an unidentified individual suffering from a stab wound to the head.
The victim was transported to University Hospital in Newark for treatment.
No arrests have been reported as of now, and the victim's immediate condition has not been disclosed.
The motive for the stabbing is still under investigation as Elizabeth police continue to gather more information on the incident.
