Residents in North Jersey are waking up to mild and cool weather at 4:30 a.m. today. Temperatures are expected to warm up as the day progresses, reaching highs near the 80s.
The skies are clear this morning, and we are starting out with a lot of sunshine, setting the stage for a beautiful day ahead.
The National Weather Service forecasts a partly sunny day with a high near 80 degrees. Light and variable winds are expected to become west around six mph in the morning.
Tonight, NWS forecasters say the weather is expected to remain mostly clear, with a low around 63 degrees.
This pleasant weather is just the beginning, as the forecast for the rest of the week predicts temperatures climbing into the high 80s and low 90s, perfect for beach-goers.
