On the evening of June 7, around 10:00 p.m., the Paterson Police Department responded to reports of a shooting near Ryle Avenue and Ryle Road, according to Passaic County Prosecutor Camelia M. Valdes.Upon arrival, officers found a 36-year-old male victim from Paterson who had suffered non-fatal gunshot wounds.
The victim was transported to St. Joseph’s University Medical Center for treatment.
Police were able to locate a potential crime scene in the area.
The investigation is currently active and ongoing, with more information to be released as it becomes available.
