The Newark and North Jersey region is waking up to another calm and dry morning with temperatures at a pleasant 72 degrees.
According to the National Weather Service (NWS), today is expected to be the nicest day of the week, significantly cooler than yesterday.
The day started partly cloudy but is expected to become mostly sunny, with a high near 84 degrees.
NWS forecasters say calm winds will become southeast at 5 to 9 mph in the morning, providing a gentle breeze.
Tonight, residents can expect patchy fog after 2 a.m., with increasing clouds and a low of around 62 degrees.
